Senior Integration Consultant

This role is Remote

In this role, you are part of a Global Services team. You handle a portfolio of projects or programmes for enterprise customers, to help with the integration and implementation of our world class SaaS enterprise solutions. You are responsible for ensuring overall success of the projects you are involved in. You are responsible for managing project status communications with customer executives and internal management.
You may be dedicated to customers, overseeing the delivery of complex internal or partner-led integrations. You will be responsible for supporting the customers ongoing technical initiatives, providing overall technologic design advice, strategic guidance, and integration consistency, working with the Customer, Product, Implementation, and Support teams to strategize the integration landscape. You will maintain communication with your dedicated customers.

You feel comfortable working in a fast paced and highly agile environment, as you work with multiple customers on multiple projects concurrently. You have a technical background and will further develop your management, consulting and communication skills.

In this role you...
  • Assess customer requirements, propose technical solutions and guidance in collaboration with Sales, Account Management and Services teams.
  • Conduct the execution, or provide oversight, of the technical projects in collaboration with the different teams involved, ensuring a high standard of execution of the technical related projects and provide subject matter expert support. 
  • Manage and own a mix of different projects and programmes, at the same time and execute based on priorities. As a senior, deliver more complex integration programs within complex customer environments
  • Create thorough & detailed requirements documents and technical specifications for integration solutions, to provide to the customer (for approval) and engineering (for the development).
  • Understand your customers technical architecture and become an expert in their existing integrations to make meaningful recommendations and help solve technical challenges. 
  • Participate in meetings with customer leadership, reviewing integration statuses and driving thought leadership.  
  • Provide integration subject matter expertise to the customer for specific questions or overall guidance and consulting 
  • Serve as the Support teams point of contact for integration issues to speed the resolution time. 
  • Own/oversee all escalations for your customers
  • Act as a bridge to Product Management for technical enhancement request discussions & prioritization
  • Work in a very international environment and closely with at times offshore engineering teams, providing requirements in the development of integration solutions.
  • Manage and expand relationships “high and wide” in customer organisations to expand the relationship footprint.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure excellent delivery of service, quality deliverables and the highest level of customer satisfaction possible.
  • Participate in Partner oversight on specific projects to ensure alignment to best practices, as well as guide partners to ensure the best interest of the customer is being considered.
  • Maintain product and technical certifications
  • Support internal initiatives to improve business function or product developments
  • Coach junior members of the team as well as other teams within the business
  • Write detailed knowledge management articles to support new functionality and capability
  • Actively seek opportunities to grow and develop the operational aspects of the role
  • Become a trusted advisor - seeks to develop internal teams and other areas of the business through sharing of knowledge
 
You’ve got what it takes if you have...
  • 8+ years relevant experience in the HCM space, with more than 5 years of technical consulting / project management experience working with enterprise customers (less experience considered if previous Cornerstone integration knowledge)
  • Strong technical background, with experience identifying solutions that integrate Enterprise applications, SaaS or other complex services.
  • Experience with software integrations and data migrations, preferably with Cornerstone products, as a consultant or project lead.
  • Proven experience defining, designing, delivering and configuring software interfaces between multiple systems (EDI)
  • Proven experience in Business User Data (T&A / HCM / LMS). Ability to critically evaluate and analyse Data
  • Experience in delivering strategic guidance in line with product release map, and driving customer system improvements
  • Experience in successfully managing customer escalations, or working collaboratively, supporting Partner (Supplier) Integrations with Cornerstone. Maturity of thinking when engaged in highly political or stressful situations
  • Experience in process design, research and competitive analysis, package implementation, knowledge of multiple technologies and interactive design.
  • Exceptionally strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage customer project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Expertise in one or more industries, organisational structures, business process design techniques and development methodologies.
  • Key skills and experiences would include, but not limited to, working with API/webservices, XML, SQL Server, data migrations and integrations.
  • Thorough understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively manage through the complexities of the business solution.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and highly agile environment, working with multiple customers on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Empathy - being able to understand the customer through active listening and effective questioning

The base salary range for this position is: $114600 - $183400 USD

In addition to competitive base pay, the compensation package for this role may include other incentives like bonus or commission, along with a generous benefits package. Additional base pay may be available if you reside in a high-cost metro area (New York City or San Francisco Bay Area).

This range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
