Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and future-focused Senior Learning Consultant to join our Learning & Leadership Development team. At WM, you will have a unique opportunity to partner across all areas of the business—from Operations and Corporate teams to Customer Experience, Sales, and beyond. In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end management of learning projects that drive performance, align to strategic goals, and deliver measurable impact. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to design solutions that are practical, innovative, and tailored to real business needs—making your work integral to the success of our people and the growth of our organization. This role goes beyond traditional consulting—it requires a systems thinker, a driver of change, and a keeper of the big ideas who can translate complex talent and performance needs into innovative, actionable strategies.

I. Job Summary 
The Senior Learning Consultant partners serves as a strategic thought partner, surfacing bold ideas that shape the future of learning and workforce development. This role is responsible for diagnosing performance gaps through data analysis, stakeholder consultation, and business acumen. Shaping learning strategies that target skill development, behavior change, and performance outcomes. Collaborating cross-functionally with business leaders, HR, and learning teams to co-create scalable, impactful solutions. Driving continuous improvement by evaluating learning effectiveness and ensuring reinforcement and sustainability.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. 
  • Acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, identifying performance gaps and recommending scalable, innovative learning solutions to support business challenges. 
  • Leads discovery efforts and applies systems thinking to uncover root causes, interdependencies, and enterprise-wide implications. 
  • Uses data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback to diagnose learning needs and inform program design, delivery, and impact measurement. 
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with LX Designers & Developers, HR/Talent Partners, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, engaging, and impactful. 
  • Defines success metrics and lead post-implementation evaluations to continuously refine and evolve strategies. 
  • Leads and manages learning projects from start to finish, acting as the act as the bridge between the business and the learning team, ensuring projects are strategic, efficient, and effective.
  • Provides strategic oversight for program implementation, and communication plans to ensure adoption and sustainability. 

III. Coaching Responsibilities  
Provides support and coaching to team members, including review of all deliverables prior to client review.
 
IV. Qualifications  
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.  Must live and work in the US.
  
A. Education and Experience  
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Adult Learning, Human Performance, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or similar area of study, or in lieu of, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.  
  
Experience: Seven (7) years of prior work experience  

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Normal setting for this job is working remotely. 

The expected pay range for this remote position across the U.S is $115K- 125,000K. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
