The Senior Learning & Development Designer – AI Enablement will lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale learning experiences that build AI fluency, accelerate adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, and help employees apply approved AI tools responsibly in their daily work.
This role will translate complex technology into practical, role-based training, anticipate adoption barriers, influence behavior change, and support sustained technology adoption. The role will also facilitate engaging learning sessions for individual teams, leaders, champions, and specialized user groups while connecting training to broader change plans, communications, readiness activities, and adoption outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-wide training and change enablement strategies that support large-scale AI adoption across regions, functions, roles, and levels of digital maturity.
- Design role-based learning curricula for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio concepts, and other approved AI tools, tailoring content to multiple audiences, business workflows, and stages of the adoption journey.
- Create learning journeys that move employees from awareness to confidence, practical application, responsible use, and sustained behavior change.
- Identify audience-specific change impacts, adoption barriers, gaps, resistance points, and reinforcement needs, and translate those insights into targeted learning and enablement plans.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, office hours, and labs for employees, leaders, champions, and targeted personas.
- Partner with technology, change management, communications, HR, security, and business stakeholders to align learning content with enterprise priorities, governance expectations, business readiness, and change plans.
- Translate technical AI capabilities, risks, and use cases into clear, accessible training materials for technical and non-technical employees.
- Develop reusable enablement assets, including facilitator guides, job aids, quick tips, scenario libraries, prompts, exercises, knowledge articles, change toolkits, leader talking points, and trainer materials.
- Create engaging and polished video content that supports AI learning, reinforces key messages, and helps employees understand and apply new tools and ways of working.
- Use data, feedback, adoption metrics, and learner insights to evaluate training effectiveness, measure behavior adoption, and improve curriculum, delivery methods, and learning outcomes.
- Support champion and peer-learning networks by providing tools, content, facilitation support, and change messaging to scale learning and reinforce adoption.
- Design scalable learning and adoption approaches for a large, distributed workforce.
- Adapt content for different personas, skill levels, regions, job functions, business scenarios, and change-readiness needs.
- Create hands-on learning experiences that help employees apply AI tools to real work and build confidence through repeated practice.
- Reinforce safe, secure, ethical, and policy-aligned use of AI tools.
- Use adoption data, readiness signals, behavior indicators, and learner feedback to demonstrate value and improve outcomes over time.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience designing and delivering training and change enablement strategies for a large, complex, global enterprise.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, including practical use across Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and enterprise chat experiences, as well as basic agent building.
- Broad understanding of AI tools, responsible AI practices, prompt design, AI-enabled workflow transformation, and emerging trends in enterprise AI adoption.
- Strong instructional design capabilities, including needs analysis, audience segmentation, curriculum architecture, learning objectives, assessment methods, adoption reinforcement, and blended learning design.
- Proven facilitation skills with the ability to lead engaging, practical, and outcome-focused training sessions for diverse global audiences.
- Experience applying organizational change management principles, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, readiness planning, resistance management, reinforcement, and adoption measurement.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into plain language, practical examples, and actionable guidance.
- Experience creating scalable learning and change assets that can be reused by facilitators, champions, managers, and employees across multiple business areas.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions, influence without authority, and manage competing priorities.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving technology environment where tools, policies, and user needs continue to evolve.
- Experience with instructional design, user experience design (UX), visual design, learning strategy, technical training, training and development, and Adobe Suite.
Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience building persona-based learning and change strategies tied to business use cases and measurable adoption outcomes.
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio, agent concepts, or low-code/no-code automation platforms.
- Experience developing train-the-trainer programs, champion enablement models, communities of practice, or peer-learning networks that reinforce sustained behavior change.
