Sr. Manager, Content and Education
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Content and Education to lead and elevate our comprehensive content and education strategy. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers and internal teams have access to high-quality, effective learning resources. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team, including help center specialists, internal training professionals, content creators, video producers, and web developers, driving the creation and delivery of engaging educational content across various platforms. This role will report to the Director, CX Knowledge & Operations.
The impact you will make:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a holistic content education strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on maximizing customer satisfaction and employee proficiency. This includes setting clear objectives, identifying target audiences, and selecting the most effective delivery methods.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team including help center specialists, internal training professionals, content creators, video producers, and web developers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Help Center Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of a comprehensive and user-friendly help center. Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and relevant, and implement strategies for content optimization and knowledge base growth.
- Customer Education Development: Create and deliver engaging customer education materials, including online courses, webinars, and in-person workshops, to drive product adoption, customer success, and retention. Develop training paths and certifications to enhance customer learning experiences.
- Video Production Oversight: Manage the production of high-quality educational videos, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and brand standards. Oversee the video production process from concept to completion, including scripting, filming, and editing.
- Internal Training Development: Design and implement effective internal training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills, supporting onboarding, product updates, and ongoing professional development. Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback and performance data.
- Web Development Collaboration: Partner with web developers to optimize the delivery of educational content through our online platforms, ensuring seamless user experience, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. Collaborate on the integration of learning technologies and tools.
- Content Creation & Maintenance: Establish and maintain content standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all educational materials. Implement content governance and version control procedures.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of content education initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to stakeholders on content usage, learner outcomes, and ROI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with product, marketing, and CX teams to ensure alignment of content education efforts with overall business objectives. Gather input from stakeholders to identify training needs and content gaps.
- Budget Management: Manage the content education budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI. Monitor expenses, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Attributes for Success
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in content education, training, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in SAAS industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing a help center, internal training teams, customer training teams, video producers, and web developers.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), content management systems (CMS), video editing software, and other relevant technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data, generate actionable insights, and make informed decisions.
- Experience with creating and implementing scalable training programs and content strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track user behavior and improve content effectiveness.

In-Office Requirement Statement
We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 3-4 times a quarter and therefore is best situated in the Western Time zones.
Pay Range
At Kajabi we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for equity. Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
