WHAT YOU’LL DO 
TNTP’s Fundraising Team partners across regions and divisions to build and advance investment pipelines aligned to the organization’s highest priorities, with an FY26 goal of securing $29.3M in philanthropic and government grant revenue.  
 As Senior Manager, Fundraising (National), you will play a critical role in advancing TNTP's national fundraising strategy by managing a portfolio of current and prospective philanthropic funders and translating organizational priorities into a strong, actionable funding pipeline. You will focus on cultivating, securing, and stewarding national-level investments that enable TNTP to scale its impact. 

In this highly collaborative and execution-focused role, you will partner closely with the Partner, Fundraising, a peer Senior Manager, and division leaders across TNTP to move opportunities through the full funder lifecycle, from prospect identification and cultivation to proposal development and stewardship. You will also help strengthen the systems and processes that support consistent, high-quality fundraising execution across the organization. 

Responsibilities
  • Drive national fundraising strategy execution: Partner with the Fundraising Partner and division leaders to develop and execute annual fundraising plans aligned to TNTP’s strategic priorities and revenue goals. 
  • Build and manage a high-quality funder pipeline: Identify, assess, and prioritize prospective funders whose interests align with TNTP’s strategy; monitor trends in philanthropy to inform pipeline development and positioning. 
  • Lead funder cultivation and portfolio management: Orchestrate relationship-centered cultivation strategies, including preparing leaders for engagements, maintaining strong visibility into portfolio progress, and ensuring consistent follow-through across the funder lifecycle. 
  • Project manage proposal development from concept to submission: Lead cross-functional teams in the development of concept papers, LOIs, and grant proposals, ensuring clarity, quality, and alignment with funder priorities and TNTP’s strategic narrative. 
  • Ensure strong grant execution and stewardship: Partner with program, Finance, and Legal teams to review grant agreements, monitor compliance, and support high-quality reporting and funder communications. 
  • Strengthen fundraising systems, processes, and data practices: Contribute to the continuous improvement of fundraising operations by ensuring accurate and consistent Salesforce data, supporting portfolio tracking and reporting, and helping to refine team processes and tools that drive disciplined execution and decision-making.  
  • Develop compelling funder-facing materials: Contribute to and refine written communications, presentations, and materials that clearly articulate TNTP’s impact and value proposition to funders. 
  • This position is based in a home office anywhere in the U.S. Travel for team and organizational meetings is required a few times a year 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 
  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, business development, sales, or a related field 
  • Strong command of fundraising best practices and ability to apply them in a complex, matrixed organization  
  • Demonstrated success managing across teams, influencing stakeholders, and executing through others  
  • Excellent written communication skills; experience developing or managing grant proposals and reports strongly preferred  
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage funder relationships; Salesforce experience a plus 
 
WHAT WE OFFER
The salary range for this position is $79,089-$118,634. New hires can typically expect a starting salary between the salary range minimum and midpoint ($79,089-$98,862) in alignment with experience, qualifications, and our commitment to equity in compensation.
