Who we’re looking for:
We are seeking a passionate Senior Product Manager with a focus on enhancing our mobile app experiences.  As our first ever PM focused on our mobile efforts, we want to work with someone who is passionate about mobile app development, and deeply empathetic towards the end-user experience. You will immerse yourself in our product, gain a comprehensive understanding of the parent, teacher, and administrator user journeys, and analyze the competitive landscape from their perspective. You are an organized individual capable of managing multiple projects efficiently. In our rapidly growing team, you will enthusiastically contribute to scaling our platform and embrace agility to meet the evolving needs of our parent users. This role will include:
  • Product Development 
    • Identifying and filling product gaps with solutions that grow market share, improve customer experience, increase profitability and drive growth
    • Utilizing AI tools to streamline product development and launch processes
    • Driving product launches including working with the marketing  team, customer success, and other product team members
    • Facilitating beta and pilot programs

  • Product Backlog
    • Translating product strategy into requirements and prototypes
    • Creating a scope and prioritizing the product backlog based on business and customer impact
    • Working closely with engineering teams to ship value with quick time-to-market
    • Working with QA resources to ensure the product is tested for all customer types
    • Regular refinement and ownership of the team backlogs

  • Product Feedback
    • Working with leadership, sales and customer success teams to gather insight, refine market fit and validate stakeholder benefits
    • Conducting demos and training for engineering, sales and customer success teams
    • Interviewing customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
    • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
    • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
    • Implementing AI for enhanced customer feedback analysis and market research

Our ideal candidate will have the following:
  • 4-6 years of Product Management experience in B2B2C SaaS
  • Demonstrated experience establishing, managing, and growing widely-adopted mobile applications with intimate familiarity of mobile development workflows and frameworks
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful SaaS product throughout its lifecycle
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from development, customer success, sales, marketing and leadership. Strong problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done. 
  • High proficiency in written communication.
  • Skill in working with agile teams, aligning team efforts with strategic business and product goals
  • Reputation for converting complex business needs into actionable technical strategies and compelling product features
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, guiding projects from concept to implementation, with an emphasis on result-driven methodologies

Bonus: 
  • Experience launching educational technology (Ed-Tech) products a plus
