About the Role
The Senior Product Manager will serve as product lead on our Sherpath AI app, the first of its kind GAI-based natural language chatbot built for nursing students and educators. This role involves representing the product domain to peers, managers, executives, and external audiences, and serving as a central point for customer understanding. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with the delivery team to prioritize new features and respond to customer feedback.
Sherpath AI was released last year and already has tens of thousands of users who have already asked millions of questions. The product manager in this role will be successful by driving impactful data science research, directing evaluation, and building the future roadmap from a highly successful launch.
Responsibilities
- Work with UX and directly with customers to understand key use cases to drive innovative and agentic experiences that reflect user needs.
- Work with the Evaluation team to drive the proper outcomes by ensuring responses are accurate, maintaining high standards for trusted content and aligned with intended goals.
- Lead and provide use cases, hypotheses and experiments for data science to research.
- Identify key data and set KPIs, priorities, and dashboards that allow the team to monitor and act on outcomes.
- Develop hypothesis-driven product experiments and strategies, including AB testing for interactive products in-line with NHE’s Responsible AI framework.
- Use knowledge of competitors to inform product decisions and roadmaps.
- Propose or support business cases for investment to unlock investment dollars to develop products faster.
- Develop product vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy.
- Support Go-To-Market activities for Sales and Marketing by providing accurate product information and release schedules.
Requirements
- Have at least 4-5+ years of Product Management experience working in an agile team environment.
- Experience working on a successful GAI project; understanding of RAG architecture environments and LLMs is a major plus.
- Demonstrate long-term ownership and success in leading product lifecycle strategy and planning.
- Have ability to develop deep customer relationships that drive meaningful dialogue about the future direction of a product.
- A Master's degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering) is preferred
