Job Summary/Basic Functions
The University of Mary Washington has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Senior Project Manager. In this role, you will provide program and project management for critical facilities functions including design coordination, construction management and inspection, maintenance reserve projects, energy conservation projects, utilities management and monitoring, and records management.
Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of Utilities including rates and quantities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Required Experience:Experience in building systems. Extensive experience in Construction Contracting to include flooring and roofing.Extensive experience with building environmental systems.Extensive experience with building automation system.

Additional Considerations:KSAs
Knowledge of general construction. Ability to lay out construction projects.

EDUCATION
Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent education and experience.

EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in building systems in a college or higher education institution.
Previous experience with contract management involving the Code of Virginia, Virginia State Purchasing Manual and Capital Outlay manual as well as IBC building codes.
