About the Opportunity
Our R&D organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (C#/JavaScript/Angular Development exp REQUIRED) who will be working with a team of experienced analysts, architects, developers, and business resources to build high-performance enterprise-level solutions. Our teams have full cycle responsibilities from design through maintenance. This means you will have a passion and desire to learn new things and would be part of a development team driving innovation for our Colleague ERP. We are looking for people who will challenge the norm, that want to take accountability for their own path, but will come together as a team to enable and delight our customers. Working in an agile environment, we encourage regular meetings where people can share their ideas and thoughts.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of the Colleague ERP for higher education customers. She/he will be accountable for the development and execution of programs and facilitation for the development of technology required to meet business strategies and goals.
Where you will make an impact
- Designing, implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining of large ERP system
- Participating in technical and implementation decisions
- Working with the development team to ensure robust, future proof design and development
- Communicating to technical and non-technical audiences both internally and with clients and business partners
- Advocating and implementing front-end engineering best practices related to usability, performance, security, and code quality
- Providing written and verbal knowledge to other team members through collaboration and training
- Ensuring that accessibility standards are met
- Interact closely with Product Teams, Business Analysts, Integration Analysts, Architects, and Developers.
- Provide development support and assistance for customer escalations and issues.
- Participate in a team support rotation.
- Responsible for the quality and accountability of deliverables.
- Participate in an experienced, energetic team on a rapid development schedule.
- Should be comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
What you will bring
- 5-7 years of experience as full-stack software engineer
- Proficient in C# with a strong command of object-oriented programming principles
- Strong command of HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, including familiarity with responsive design and modern JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular, KnockoutJS, React)
- High proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio
- Experience with MVC design pattern, particularly .NET MVC
- Experience with developing applications for cloud virtualized environments
- Experience with automated testing
- Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Experience with large-scale system deployment
- Agile development
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Colleague development experience a plus
- Higher Education development a plus
