How you’ll make an impact:

The Learning & Development, Senior Specialist is a highly consultative, business-facing role responsible for diagnosing performance needs and shaping targeted development strategies that drive business outcomes.

This is a senior individual contributor role for a practitioner who thrives in ambiguity, builds strong relationships with leaders, and influences how teams approach performance and capability development. You will partner closely with business leaders and People & Culture stakeholders to identify root causes of performance challenges and deliver solutions that improve team effectiveness and execution.

If you are energized by solving real business problems, influencing leaders, and balancing strategy with hands-on facilitation, this role offers meaningful impact without people management responsibility.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and People & Culture partners to understand priorities, challenges, and goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on team effectiveness, leadership capability, and performance improvement
  • Guide stakeholders toward the right solutions, including reframing or challenging initial requests when needed
  • Conduct structured needs assessments to identify root causes of performance gaps
  • Distinguish between learning needs and broader organizational or operational drivers
  • Recommend solution pathways, including learning and non-learning interventions
  • Design and deliver targeted learning and development solutions aligned to business priorities
  • Leverage and adapt enterprise programs where appropriate rather than duplicating efforts
  • Balance customization with scalable approaches to maximize impact
  • Facilitate leadership development sessions, team effectiveness workshops, and capability-building experiences
  • Lead intact team sessions and support enterprise learning program delivery
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate and prioritize development needs based on business impact
  • Bring structure and clarity to how work is scoped and sequenced
  • Define success metrics tied to performance and capability outcomes
  • Evaluate effectiveness of development efforts beyond participation and satisfaction
  • Use feedback and data to continuously improve solutions and inform future priorities

What you’ll need:
  • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in a consultative L&D or performance partnering role
  • Strong facilitation skills across leadership and team-based experiences
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Ability to translate business priorities into actionable development strategies
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Strong prioritization and scope management skills in ambiguous environments
  • Experience defining success metrics and evaluating impact
  • Experience supporting business-facing L&D or HRBP-aligned roles preferred
  • Background in media, technology, or fast-paced, consumer-driven organizations preferred
  • Familiarity with performance consulting methodologies or frameworks preferred
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini, etc.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
