Our Information Technology (IT) team leads all aspects of IT systems and processes across the enterprise, including data services, security, compliance, applications, automation, and end-user services. Through innovative and streamlined technology solutions, this dynamic team enables company growthâ, protects data, and serves as a critical partner to all departments of PowerSchool.
Responsibilities:
Description
The Enterprise Applications team is responsible for establishing and configuring enterprise software applications, providing training to IT staff and employees, supporting users, and troubleshooting issues.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Responsible for the Coupa configurations and customizations needed to deliver the desired solution.
- Perform administration and implement enhancements to the Coupa instance.
- Work collaboratively across teams and/or independently to design and build solutions on the Coupa platform.
- Provide guidance on solution requirements, technical design, integration architecture, and solution recommendations.
- Employ established change control processes from development to production and across the development lifecycle. Ensure that all necessary changes are documented, reviewed, tested, and approved before being deployed.
- Log and track identified system problems and work with stakeholders through resolution.
- Implement and govern security including login access policies.
- Understand all aspects of Coupa configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Coupa release upgrades.
- Manage and configure Coupa integrations, including custom integrations.
- Manage new user set-ups and deactivations.
- Research and stay current on security and maintenance related items and or tools.
- Regularly audit data to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain updated system documentation and Coupa policies/procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on items related to Coupa and third party integrations.
- Remain current on new Coupa features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field preferred.
- 4+ years experience in technical implementations of Coupa or similar role.
- Coupa Platform Certification required.
- Proven ability to independently perform development, testing, implementation, documentation and updates as it relates to the Coupa software and system administration.
- Builds relationships and works well across functions.
- Can work independently, as well as with a team.
- Good analytical skills and ability to distill salient points from large data sets.
- Ability to communicate and explain complex principals across functions and levels of the organization.
- Possess strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and work on projects in parallel.
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgement that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, self-motivated.
- Ability to act quickly and iterate to achieve results.
- Travel occasionally, up to 5-10%, for key moments such as team summits, training, conferences, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coupa Product Certification desired.
- Experience with NetSuite a plus.
