Job Description
This position works in and manages complex Applications & Platforms for production and development environments. In addition, this person will assist on medium to large size projects, and will interact with many constituencies to develop solutions to business problems. Works independently to ensure that the enterprise applications are operating efficiently and maintained.
- Uses skills and knowledge of enterprise applications to plan and coordinate the activities related to running Production/QA/Development environments.
- Works with the Development and Business Systems teams on Application & Platform upgrades and monitor/communicate improvements per application or platform.
- Works with the Development and Business Systems teams to implement minor application maintenance type enhancements.
- Works closely with the Development and Business Systems teams during defect resolution.
- Works with Development team to implement change management for custom code migrated into production environments. Confirms proper functionality of implemented custom code within Production environment.
- Refreshes QA/Development/Test environments on a scheduled basis.
- Assists in the management of a catalog of service capabilities that will be shared with all institutions.
- Assists to standardize and maintain security in all Applications.
- As assigned - researches, plans, and performs upgrades, application of bug fixes, and the implementation of security policies.
- Works with cross functional groups on projects, enhancements, and defect resolution.
- Maintains knowledge base to improve maintenance and reliability.
- Publishes Development/Implementation activities and schedules for applications and platforms.
- Performs high level trouble-shooting of development and production systems independently.
- Maintains Metrics for enterprise monitoring.
- Reports on license utilization across all Applications & Platforms
- Provides support for the training development team on new/advancing capabilities and ongoing support of these processes/procedures to help build the knowledge of other administrators.
- Performs administration of the Canvas Learning Management system.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Peforms other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology or omparable Technical discipline.
- Five (5) plus years of experience in Information Technology working with cloud applications.
- Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) preferably Canvas.
- Experience of performing LMS integration configurations and validations.
- Experience with integrations and troubleshooting defects.
- Proven track record in managing and tuning large volume applications.
- Excellent oral/written communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple organizations.
- Knowledge in Microsoft windows and Office products.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of web base technologies Desired.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199.33 and $86,253.75. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
