ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Trainer to join our Learning Services team. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our global customers on our renewable energy software platforms, with a primary focus on our asset performance management and Scada platforms.

As a key member of our customer enablement function, you will help ensure customers are equipped to successfully adopt and use our products. You will deliver training through a variety of formats, including virtual classrooms, on-site sessions, webinars, and self-paced digital learning content.

This is a customer-facing technical role that requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of renewable energy operations, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led training on our asset performance management (APM) and monitoring and control (SCADA/EMS) platforms to new and existing customers through live virtual and on-site sessions, webinars, and train-the-trainer programs for key accounts.
  • Build a deep understanding of customer use cases and operational workflows, and design training adapted to each learner persona and to each customer's asset mix across PV, wind, and BESS.
  • Coordinate onboarding-phase sessions with Technical Project Managers, aligning platform orientation to acceptance testing scope, and manage scheduling and logistics for customer cohorts across time zones and regions.
  • Develop and maintain customer-facing learning materials on Unity University (user guides, eLearning modules, video walkthroughs), as well as internal enablement content.
  • Partner with Product, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure training reflects current functionality and best practices.
  • Gather learner feedback, track completion and satisfaction outcomes, and drive continuous improvements to training offering, quality and effectiveness.
  • Apply AI-assisted workflows to content drafting, editing, and localization, validating all outputs for product accuracy before release.
  • Stay current on industry trends and software innovations within renewable energy, asset management, and SCADA.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role, including at least 2 to 3 years delivering training, onboarding, or customer enablement.
  • Working knowledge of renewable energy operations and operational software, with demonstrated depth in asset performance management or SCADA/EMS.
  • Must be fluent (written and spoken) in English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working directly with operators, engineers, analysts, or technical users.
  • Proven ability to facilitate independently and explain technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of expertise.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent training engagements and flag delivery risks early.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%).

Nice-to-Have:
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
