Position Summary
As a Senior Training Specialist at Empower, you will shape the future of our workforce by designing dynamic training programs, driving compliance, and cultivating professional growth. Partnering with leaders and experts, you’ll create innovative learning solutions that align with our mission to expand access to affordable, high-quality medications and improve lives worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partners with leadership and subject matter experts to assess performance needs, identify gaps, and coordinate learning activities, while continuously auditing and improving training programs for effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Creates and maintains technical training programs, procedures, and plans for new equipment and processes, delivering engaging, interactive sessions tailored to diverse learning styles and leveraging modern technologies.
  • Oversees training completion and compliance metrics, executing curricula change management and providing functional reporting to ensure adherence to training standards across the organization.
  • Works closely with the Training function, managers, supervisors, and internal stakeholders to maintain professional training standards and to align training initiatives with business priorities, manage training schedules, and coordinate logistics with internal and external vendors.
  • Leads and participates in projects to advance organizational development, act as a subject matter expert for training strategies, and mentor junior training staff to foster professional growth and expertise.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of training or relevant experience required, with 3 years in production, bio-manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail pharmacy, or a related industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Certification in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, and/or Training and Facilitation preferred.
