The Executive (or Senior) Product Marketing Manager, High School leads the strategy and execution of marketing programs for High School products, driving adoption, sales enablement, and customer engagement at the school and district levels. This role partners closely with Sales, editorial, product, and cross-functional teams to position BFW Publishers’ High School offerings for success across the K–12 buying and adoption lifecycle.
Serving as a strategic marketing leader, this role develops data-informed go-to-market strategies, guides sales training and enablement, supports customer onboarding and implementation, and informs product development through deep market and classroom insights. Depending on level, the role may also provide leadership across disciplines, mentor other marketers, influence portfolio-level strategy, and drive scalable, innovative marketing approaches that extend beyond a single product line. This role manages other employees.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Travel to schools, districts, company meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Partner with Sales to assess the local and district sales landscape and strategically position BFW Publishers’ High School products and services for success.
- Engage with teachers, department leaders, instructional staff, and district administrators.
- Deliver standard-aligned presentations and product demonstrations.
- Address instructional, implementation, and adoption-related questions to support progress through the district adoption and purchasing process.
- Travel as needed to support marketing planning, leadership, and sales meetings, along with national, regional, and state conferences and special events.
- Develop and executes comprehensive marketing programs for High School discipline products.
- Partners with editorial and media teams to recommend product development and enhancements informed by classroom needs, standards alignment, and district requirements.
- Evaluate and reports on campaign performance, using data and insights to optimize results.
- Collaborates across teams to support customer onboarding and ongoing implementation training.
- Monitors K–12 curriculum and district-level activity for key accounts, and applies awareness of industry and digital trends to inform current and future marketing and sales strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Work collaboratively across various department and groups.
- Ability to travel up to 10 weeks per year.
- Customer focused.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in K–12 education, educational publishing, or educational technology, with a focus on High School.
- Prior sales experience.
- Employee management and development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with experience using project management tools such as Asana, Wrike, or similar platforms.
- Experience in designing, implementing and monitoring results from sales/marketing campaigns.
- Proven ability to develop and test innovative marketing approaches.
- Willingness to take calculated risks with new messaging, audience segments, or outreach tactics, particularly in competitive adoption cycles or highly regulated districts.
- Up-to-date knowledge of K–12 instructional trends, state curriculum shifts, equity initiatives, and district buying behaviors, especially in the context of EdTech integration.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
Exemption Status: Exempt
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to multi-task, concentrate in an open office work environment, and to travel occasionally. Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.
The position is eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations: Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
