Primary Purpose
The SEO Manager will lead the development and execution of our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy. They will be responsible for driving organic traffic and leads, improving keyword rankings, and increasing visibility across all digital platforms. They will collaborate with the content, product, analytics, and web teams to optimize all aspects of our digital presence and performance. Must be detail oriented and data driven.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite at our headquarters in Newton, MA.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits to identify growth and optimizations opportunities.
  • Optimize landing pages and content for search engine rankings and user experience.
  • Develop link building strategy to improve domain authority.
  • Analyze and report on KPIs such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, organic leads, and bounce rate.
  • Monitor trends, emerging platforms, and algorithm updates to ensure strategies remain current.
  • Collaborate with content, design and product teams to optimize existing content and help guide new content development.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • 5 years experience in SEO

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, Screaming Frog, GA4, etc.
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with CMS platforms a plus (eg. WordPress, HubSpot).
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team environment.
