Job Summary
Promotes and delivers training programs mandated by federal, state and local laws for fire, rescue, EMS, industries, institutions, and other agencies with similar needs.

Job Duties
  • Delivers / instructs Fire/Rescue training classes to Fire, Rescue, EMS, industries, institutions, and other agencies.
  • Delivers / instructs classes under the direction of The Fire Academy using curriculum, materials and equipment provided by SFRT.
  • Promotes positive image of KCTCS/SFRT.
  • Provides technical consulting services for Fire, Rescue, EMS, industries, government agencies and other such entities.
  • Maintains equipment and facilities for training purposes.
  • Performs administrative services for Fire/Rescue program by maintaining appropriate training records.
  • Promotes public relations and attends training/seminars as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED. Kentucky Fire Fighter (Fire Commission Certified) Level I Instructor (Fire Commission Certified) IFSAC FFI and FFII.
Other certifications based on classes to be delivered.
