Posting Summary
Serve as lead social media manager for the Larner College of Medicine. Create and contribute content to a broad range of digital College communications channels, including social media platforms, e-newsletters, Larner website, digital publications, digital screens, promotional event materials, and announcements. Serve as the College’s digital storyteller, with responsibility to engage, inspire, and communicate about and to the Larner College of Medicine community. Serve as project manager on digital communication initiatives.. Develop and implement communications strategy, recommendations and channels, and assess efficacy and update plans to accommodate changing priorities. Undertake digital projects that align with the college’s strategic messaging and goals. Guide and support development of digital content by local stakeholders that aligns with communications strategies and meets online communication standards and strategic goals. Collaborate with College, Department, and Division colleagues to implement effective digital communications strategies to achieve goals.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or communications and three to four years of related experience required. Effective writing skills with the ability to explain the complex in simple terms and to tailor content to different audiences. Demonstrated strength in the development of visual and written content, and experience communicating effectively in a digital environment. Experience with project management, communications, relationship building and customer service skills across a diverse group of constituents, including academic and administrative leadership. Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $64,000 - $69,000
