Job Summary | The Cancer Research Informatics Shared Resource at the Markey Cancer Center is recruiting a Software/Data
Professional IIIto lead cancer informatics software development efforts for the Markey Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position includes supervision and management of software developers. Duties include ensuring the implementation of effective, user-centered, secure coding practices and the continued technical development and support of critical software systems used by cancer center physician scientists, biostatisticians, and basic scientists. Ideal candidates will be passionate about bringing out the best in a team, providing first class research informatics support, and developing a work environment that values data privacy and security, effective software development practices, and personal respect among staff.
This position will have a remote work arrangement.
