This position serves as a vital member of the Student Life Information Technology team. The Software Developer Analyst provides technical and analytical software support for the software and systems developed within Student Life, as well as providing support for third party software used within the Division of Student Life.

In this role, you will:
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain web and application solutions that support Student Life operations and services.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure point-of-sale hardware and software systems.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field. Two year in software development and/or application administration.
  • Experience developing, supporting, or administering server-based applications and systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a professional team environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases. Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Must be customer service oriented and have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that include working with various levels of business and technical staff.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years in software development and/or application administration.
  • Prior experience with C#.
  • Prior experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
  • Prior experience with OWASP security best practices.
