Requires a bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a specialist endorsement in Low Vision/Blindness, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, and/or Learning and Behavior
Requires a Professional Educator License
Braille, assistive technology, and sign language skills are preferred
Prior experience with specially designed instruction and classroom accommodation/behavior strategies is preferred
Pays $42,417.50–$84,000 depending on years of service and degree, with health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement planning, tuition waivers, and paid holiday/administrative closures
Runs on a typical Monday-through-Friday school schedule, with occasional weekend/evening hours and travel to covered school districts, starting August 2026
