The role involves partnering with faculty to design high-quality fully online courses, providing instructional design and technology support, and assisting in developing learner-centered materials primarily for online courses.
Highlights
Design and develop online and blended learning courses in collaboration with faculty.
Provide instructional design and technology support using platforms such as Brightspace.
Deliver faculty training on effective use of learning technologies.
Utilize multimedia and web development tools including Articulate 360, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite.
Part-time position: 15 hours per week, hourly pay rate $31.25 - $33.65, limited to June 26, 2027 with possible extension.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field and at least two years’ experience in web/multimedia development or online teaching/training.
Demonstrated skills in instructional design theory, learning technologies, course creation, and working with diverse groups.
Experience with online learning platforms, video conferencing, and emerging multimedia technologies is essential.
Positions are professional staff roles under the Provost for Academic Affairs department.
Preference given to candidates with a Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field.
