Job Title: Specialist, Legal Compliance - Corporate Legal
Description: As a Specialist, Legal Compliance - Corporate Legal, you will play a critical role in enabling scalable, compliant contracting across the organisation by owning and evolving our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform. This is a handsâon, operational role at the heart of Legal Operationsâfocused on process excellence, automation, and user experience rather than legal advice.
You'll wake up excited to simplify how contracts are created, reviewed, and executedâdesigning workflows that reduce friction, improve turnaround time, and support the business at scale. In your first six months, your impact will be visible through improved platform reliability, faster contract cycles, and increased adoption of automated workflows. What makes this role unique is the opportunity to act as the bridge between Legal, Commercial, Finance, and Technology, shaping how legal compliance is enabled through smart systems and processes.
The Role
This role exists to own the dayâtoâday operation and continuous improvement of the organisation's Ironclad CLM platform. You'll act as the primary point of contact for internal users, the custodian of contracting workflows, and a key driver of automation and standardisation across the contract lifecycle.
This is not a legal advisory role âa legal qualification is not required. Success in this role comes from strong process design, technical curiosity, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
What You'll Own
Success in this role is defined by ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement:
CLM platform ownership & administration : Serve as system administrator for Ironclad, managing configurations, templates, permissions, integrations, and platform health.
User support & enablement : Act as firstâline support for CLM users, triaging issues, resolving queries, and delivering onboarding and refresher training.
Workflow design & automation : Design, build, test, and deploy automated contract workflows, approval routing, and signing processes that minimise manual effort and cycle time.
Crossâfunctional collaboration : Partner closely with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable CLM solutions.
Reporting & insight : Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into contract volume, cycle times, bottlenecks, and SLA performance.
Process optimisation & documentation : Maintain clear documentation, identify recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement through dataâled prioritisation.
Systems integration : Support and enhance integrations between Ironclad and adjacent tools (e.g. Salesforce, DocuSign, Slack, ERP systems) to enable endâtoâend compliance workflows.
You'll maintain a strong bias toward automation, clarity, and standardisation.
About You
You bring strong operational, analytical, and systemâfocused capability, with a mindset aligned to continuous improvement.
You have experience administering a CLM, workflow automation tool, or similar enterprise SaaS platform (Ironclad experience is a strong advantage).
You've designed and implemented repeatable, scalable business processes, ideally with a focus on automation.
You're a confident problemâsolver, able to diagnose workflow or user issues quickly and pragmatically.
You communicate clearly and effectively, translating technical concepts for nonâtechnical stakeholders.
You're comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and operating with ambiguity.
You have strong attention to detail and a natural instinct to document, standardise, and simplify.
Desirable experience includes:
Ironclad Workflow Designer, AI, or reporting tools
Familiarity with contract concepts (e.g. NDA, MSA, SOW, order forms)
SaaS integrations using native connectors, Zapier, or APIs
Exposure to legal operations or legal tech frameworks (e.g. CLOC, ACC)
Project or backlog management experience
A legal qualification is not required.
What You'll Get
This is an opportunity to grow your career within a modern Legal Operations environment.
Ownership of a core legal compliance and contracting platform.
The chance to materially improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance through automation.
Close collaboration with Legal, Finance, Commercial, and Technology teams.
Exposure to legal tech, systems integration, and process design at scale.
