Education Elements is a dynamic education consulting firm at the intersection of K12 education transformation, custom curriculum development and print production and fulfillment. In our Curriculum Services Channel, we partner with traditional publishers, curriculum creators, and OER distributors as well as school districts and state education agencies. We provide both cutting-edge educational custom publishing services to full-service print production to fulfillment. We’re looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Sales Account Executive to drive growth, forge partnerships, and deliver exceptional value to our clients across the education and publishing sectors.

About the Role
As a Sr. Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in bridging the go-to-market strategies of curriculum suppliers with the full suite of custom publishing services to print and fulfillment solutions. This is a client-facing, solutions-oriented role where you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of educational organizations and publishing clients. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, crafting tailored solutions, and guiding clients through a consultative sales process that may include anything from strategic curriculum support to delivering high-quality printed materials. Success in this role requires deep experience in commercial printing and the K-12 education market, and a sharp sense for strategic growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with both production and fulfillment teams, acting as the trusted advisor clients rely on to bring their educational vision to life—on the page and in practice.
 
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and clients to understand their evolving needs.
Solution Selling: Identify and propose solutions that include go-to-market best practices around book formats, print and fulfillment services across both digital and offset commercial printing capabilities (books, workbooks, manuals, custom publications).
Sales Development: Prospect new leads through outreach campaigns, networking, industry events, and referrals; manage a pipeline of opportunities across both education and print verticals.
Project Coordination: Serve as liaison between clients and internal teams (design, prepress, production, fulfillment) to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of custom projects and printed materials.
Contract Negotiation: Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts that meet both client needs and company goals.
Market Intelligence: Stay on top of industry trends in both education policy and print production technologies; leverage insights to shape solutions and marketing strategies.
Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand accounts by cross-selling custom publishing services to print clients and print services to custom publishing clients.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, proposals, and sales activity in the CRM system.

Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in education consulting, publishing, printing, or a related field.Deep understanding of the education publishing ecosystem.Working knowledge of commercial printing processes, formats, and production timelines.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.A consultative sales mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and site visits.Bonus points for a network of contacts within the education or publishing industries.
