WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Senior Clinical Product Development Specialist will join an entrepreneurial, innovative team focused on establishing a new set of solutions that serve the healthcare provider market. This role collaborates with the National Heathcareer Association (NHA) organization to understand the organization's educational needs and solutions needed to meet those needs based on staffing and other KPIs identified.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This position will work remote in the United States but may be expected to travel approximately 10% annually.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Lead planning and development of allied health onboarding programs to meet client needs
- Work with client’s education and/or professional development team to develop timelines, ensure buy-in and adoption of purchased solutions
- Collaborate with client and team leaders to identify their teams' unmet or future needs
- Understand needs of clinical professional development for healthcare systems and be able to articulate those needs and develop plans to present to client including C-suite presentation experience
- Stay up to date on evidence-based practice in health sciences, including allied health, nursing and medicine, and adult learning strategies
- Collaborate with NHA product delivery team, development team, UX team, etc., to design and develop solutions that are easy to use and meet the needs of the client and bring to market
- Identify AI opportunities to enhance satisfaction with workflows and advance implementation timelines for customers in the NHA Health Sciences product development team
- Streamline consultative service processes to enable scalability and promote efficiencies without sacrificing product integrity
- Expand reach to the healthcare workforce by introducing potential partnership opportunities with nationally recognized healthcare professional organizations
- Drive innovation as a subject matter expert in the development and piloting of adaptive competencies for hospitals and health systems
- Experience in designing innovative models of care in collaboration with academic practice partners and healthcare systems to address workforce shortage needs
- Maintain familiarity with and allied health professional development resources, like nursing schools, professional associations, continuing education providers, and literature
- Navigate educational technology, in depth knowledge of learning management systems
- Extensive knowledge and experience of clinical program development within acute care settings
- Subject matter expert regarding regulatory and accreditation standards, including but not limited to Magnet, CMS, Joint Commission, quality
- Collaborate with cross functional team members from allied health, nursing and medicine
- Contribute to clinical allied health content development based on expertise and identified market needs
- Collaborate with product owners providing ideation/development of educational offerings aimed at mitigating the theory to practice gaps, upskilling the workforce, and improving patient care outcomes
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Master's degree required; Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Education strongly preferred
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital/health system as a Clinical Instructor (or similar) strongly preferred
- Certification and/or Licensure to practice in a health science role is preferred; CPHQ, Continuing education experience a plus
- PND-BC preferred
- Travel up to 10% required
