Job Description

  • The Sr Electronics Engineering Manager strives to deliver results by understanding medium-term priorities, engages innovation within own area, meeting customer needs, engaging with and supporting colleagues. Additionally, applying strong functional knowledge within their area of expertise and actively using knowledge in a broader context.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering projects and initiatives, taking strategic decisions and understanding their impact.
  • Manage both new process platform development initiatives as well as adaptive and enhancement projects for already deployed process solutions.
  • Mitigate and resolve potential issues regarding timeline, budget, change requests or similar.
  • Lead and support the development of new equipment for internal production.
  • Identify capability gaps between future needs and current Processing capabilities and drive needed roadmap - development and execution.
  • Support facilitating training programs on new equipment.
  • Conduct evaluation to secure quality of vendors' deliverables.
  • Conduct relevant analysis and assessments for defining future capabilities.
  • Drive established meetings with fixed agendas, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Familiar with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Supplier) is a must.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in industrial manufacturing processes with electronic components and equipment performance.
  • Experience in Six Sigma/analytical trouble shooting skills.
  • Able to travel for training 3-6 months.
  • Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Zapopan, Jalisco. This is not a remote position.
