| **Internal Posting Only** Description: Provides senior level financial reporting and analysis for the division and/or university. 1. Responsible for the ongoing financial analysis of a major and very complex business area. Analyzes financial data and data trends using Data Warehouse, PeopleSoft queries, and the Student Dashboard. 2. Coordinates with executive management to develop, interpret and implement highly complex financial/accounting concepts and techniques for financial planning and control. 3. Oversees the preparation and analysis of financial statements. Prepares weekly, monthly and annual customized reports for various institutional units. 4. Reviews data entry performed and creates, implements and maintains monthly checklists on the units within the division. Follows up with CBAs/DBAs as necessary. Archives data for Internal Audit reviews. 5. Assists with the planning, coordination and execution of policy implementation applicable to the installation of improved financial operations. 6. Acts as a subject matter expert on financial policies, procedures and applications. 7. Provides specialized technical support to CBAs/DBAs within colleges and departments as needed. 8. Researches and resolves highly complex customer issues as needed. 9. Provides functional and technical direction to lower-level staff members. May assist in the hiring, training and evaluation of lower-level analysts and student workers. 10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience.
