Overview

How you can make a difference 
The Senior Instructional Designer, Sales Productivity Enablement is the lead architect of scalable, performance-driven learning solutions that enable sustained behavior change across the sales organization. This role translates sales productivity and enablement strategy into durable readiness assets that support consistent execution of RevOps processes, tools, and GTM motions.

This role designs and governs role-based learning paths, certifications, practice models, and reinforcement assets that enable sellers and managers to execute effectively in live selling environments. The Senior Instructional Designer ensures learning is workflow-embedded, scenario-based, and directly connected to measurable productivity and performance outcomes.

This is a senior individual contributor role requiring independent judgment, deep instructional design expertise, and the ability to operate with minimal direction in a complex, fast-moving SaaS or enterprise GTM environment.
 
This role is typically performed remote, with periodic travel for enablement delivery, pilot sessions, or major sales events as needed.
 
What you’ll be doing
Role-Based Learning Design 
  • Design andmaintainrole-based learning paths aligned to enterprise sales execution, including:
    • Account Executives (AEs)
    • Relationship Managers (RMs)
    • Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
    • Sales Managers
  • Ensure learning experiences are scenario-based, practice-oriented, and aligned to real deal workflows and field execution standards.
  • Apply adult learning principles to create modular, reusable learning assets that scale across segments and sales motions.  
  • Certification & Tool Enablement 
    • Design, build, andmaintaincertification frameworks for critical sales tools and workflows, including:
      • Salesforce
      • Gong
      • Seismic
      • Core RevOps processes and operating cadences
    • Ensure certifications validate applied capability and execution readiness, not just knowledge completion.
    • Partner with Enablement and RevOps leaders to align certification standards to launch readiness and adoption expectations. 
  • Manager Coaching & Reinforcement Assets 
    • Design manager-enablement assets, including coaching guides, playbooks, reinforcement tools, and inspection aids.
    • Enable frontline managers to coach consistently todefined behaviors, standards, and execution expectations.
    • Support sustained reinforcement beyond initial launch through durable, manager-led enablement mechanisms. 
  • Learning Effectiveness Measurement 
    • Define and evaluate learning effectiveness using multiple signals, including:
      • Behavior observation and execution quality
      • Adoption and utilization metrics
      • Performance and outcome analysis
    • Partner with RevOps Analytics to connect learning interventions to business impact, productivity improvement, and behavior change.
    • Use insights and feedback to continuously refine learning design and readiness effectiveness. 
 
What you will need to be successful
Education and Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, instructional design, learning sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in instructional design, sales enablement, or performance-oriented learning roles.
  • Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise sales organizations strongly preferred. 
  • Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 
    • Advanced instructional design and adult learning expertise applied to performance and behavior change.
    • Demonstrated experience designing role-based, execution-oriented learning and certification programs.
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Gong, Seismic, or comparable sales technologies.
    • Ability to translate complex processes, tools, and operating models into clear, actionable learning experiences.
    • Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
    • Comfort operating autonomously in fast-paced, high-change environments. 
  • Physical / Mental Requirements and Demands 
    • Ability to perform sustained computer-based work (6–8+ hours per day).
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex deliverables during rollout and launch periods.
    • May experience elevated stress during major enablement cycles or GTM transformations.  
  • Travel Requirements 
    • Occasional travel may be required for enablement delivery, pilot sessions, or sales events.
