Your role and responsibilities
As a Sr. Instructional Designer, you will analyze, create, develop, and evaluate engaging learning content for various training programs. This includes self-paced courses, instructor-led training, student guides, step-by-step tutorials, and eLearning modules. You will advocate for learners throughout the content development process, ensuring materials are effective, engaging, and aligned with adult learning principles. Instructional Designers may specialize in course design, content development, multimedia production, visual design, blended learning, and digital learning solutions. Your role will ensure content is up-to-date, easily accessible, and tailored to diverse learner needs.Your primary responsibilities include: 
  • Instructional design: Analyze learning needs focusing on personas with less defined learning needs and develop learning outcomes accordingly.
  • Engaging Content Development: Design and develop engaging instructional content with limited input from management (e.g., self-paced courses, instructor-led courses, student guides) using adult-learning best practices.
  • Modality Curation and Stakeholder Collaboration: Define modalities for delivery by consulting with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to business groups.
  • Course Ownership and Maintenance: Own courses, conducting regular maintenance and evaluation to ensure content remains current and effective.
  • Time and project management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide Instructional Designers to support their professional growth and development.

  • Extensive experience designing eLearning, instructor-led, and blended learning solutions using ADDIE instructional design models.

  • Proficiency in content development tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite) and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Adobe LMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance for accessible learning experiences.
  • Experience working in global teams across different time zones and cultures.
  • Experience with tools like Gainsight PX to create step-by-step in-app engagements.
