The Learning Systems specialist is responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization’s learning technology.  This role plays a critical part in supporting the Talent & Development function by managing the Learning Management System (LMS), online content platforms, and relating learning tools.  The specialist ensures these systems are effectively utilized to deliver high-quality learning experiences, drives system enhancements, and acts as a trusted consultant to the business on learning technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Enhancement & Innovation
    • Identify, evaluate, and manage new enhancements, integrations, and functionality for the LMS and associated learning platforms
    • Develop and maintain a learning technology roadmap for LMS and associated learning platforms
    • Collaborate with vendors, internal IT and communication teams to implement and communicate system updates, upgrades, and new features
    • Research industry trends and recommend new tools, functionalities, or technologies that can improve learning delivery and user experience
  • Business Consulting & Stakeholder Support
    • Act as subject matter expert and consult with Talent & development, course owners, and employees on how to effectively use learning systems and technologies
    • Provide guidance on best practices for course design, content deployment, and learning pathway development within the LMS
    • Gather business requirements and translate them into system capabilities and solutions
  • Content & Platform Management
    • Oversee the management of online content sites, digital libraries, and learning resources
    • Ensure content is current, organized, accessible, and aligned with organizational learning objectives
    • Manage vendor relationship, contracts, and service performance
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Generate and analyze learning reports and dashboards to measure utilization and effectiveness
    • Provide insights and recommendations to Talent & Development leaders based on system data
  • Project Management
    • Lead or support projects related to learning technology implementation, migration, or optimization
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, HRIS, vendors, etc.) to deliver successful outcomes
    • Manage vendor governance, including performance management, contract oversight, service levels and issues escalation
  • System Administration & Operations
    • Lead the administration and optimization of the learning management system (LMS) and other learning content providers, including configuration, governance, course/content management, organization, and user access. 
    • Manage system accuracy, data integrity, compliance and optimal performance
    • Oversee the employee ticket management system for learning related requests, ticket intake, routing, resolution, tracking and reporting on support metric

What You’ll Bring 
  • Prior experience managing Docebo required; Docebo administrator certification and credentialing preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience managing learning technologies such as LMS, LXP, content libraries, assessment platforms, or virtual learning tools, specifically Docebo, Coursera and Harvard Business Review.
  • Strong understanding of digital learning operations, system administration, reporting, and user support.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with IT, course owners, and external vendors.
  • Ability to translate business and learner needs into practical technology solutions and process improvements.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with system implementations, upgrades, integrations, or process redesign initiatives.

This role can be based in either our New York, Jersey City or Boston locations and will be a hybrid role, with a minimum of three (3) days per week in office.
   
Salary Range
$100k-$140k base salary + annual bonus target
