The Learning Technologist is responsible for the technical development, implementation, integration, and delivery of multimedia and digital learning solutions across enterprise systems and environments. This role requires strong technical expertise in eLearning development tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), and multimedia production technologies.

Under general guidance, the Learning Technologist partners with Instructional Designers, Content Managers, System Administrators, and Program Managers to design and implement scalable technical solutions that support multimodal, just-in-time learning experiences aligned to organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Support enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives aligned to business strategy and organizational objectives.
Lead and contribute to projects focused on system enhancements, eLearning development, and multimedia production (graphics, animations, video).
Ensure effective integration of learning technologies to create a seamless, scalable just-in-time learning ecosystem across LMS and LXP platforms.
Drive adoption of innovative learning technologies across multiple modalities, including media-based tools, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled platforms.
Promote accessible design standards and inclusive use of technology across all learning formats.
Identify technical, process, and external risks related to training implementations and develop mitigation strategies.
Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure optimal system performance and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, technology standards, accreditation requirements, and brand guidelines, including digital asset management.
Apply creative, iterative approaches to learning solution development and experimentation.

Additional Responsibilities

Recommend technology strategies and support models to address evolving learning needs.
Lead aspects of program development, budgeting, and project management for learning initiatives.
Manage and coordinate external vendor relationships as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or equivalent experience in Learning Technology, Adult Learning, Graphic Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
Experience administering and building integrations for LMS and LXP platforms (experience with modern cloud-based LMS platforms preferred).
Proficiency in multimedia production tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects), Articulate 360, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance learning content development and delivery.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and demonstrated experience applying them in a business or enterprise environment.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and lead in a hybrid or distributed environment.
Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting to a rapidly evolving business and technology landscape.
Highly collaborative, organized, and resourceful.

Working Conditions
