Sr. Manager, Learning and Multimedia Design

Job Purpose
This strategic role leads the design and development of engaging, inclusive, and effective learning experiences across multiple formats—including eLearning, video, photography, and other multimedia assets. The Senior Manager collaborates with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and creative teams to deliver impactful training solutions that align with Panera’s business goals and values. This role also champions innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement in learning design.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as lead instructional designer for cross-functional working groups.
  • Design end-to-end learning strategies using instructional design theories and methods.
  • Develop multimedia learning assets including interactive eLearning, gamified content, video, photography, and audio.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
  • Manage all stages of multimedia production: conceptualization, scheduling, production, and delivery.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using data and learner feedback; iterate based on insights.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in instructional design and media production.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport media equipment

Working Conditions
This is a hybrid role is based in the Newton, MA Support Center. Occasional overnight travel is required.
Competitive Pay $104,942 - $125,930 annually

The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and geographical location.
