The Senior Product Manager II will own a product or multiple product features within a complex product, as well as lead product domain strategy and program execution. He/she will represent product domain(s) to peers, managers and executives across the company and to external audiences and will be seen as a central point for customer understanding. He/she will work closely with the delivery team in prioritizing new features and responding to customer issues/feedback. This individual will actively mentor and informally lead cross-functional team members and interview and recruit new PM candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer & Market Focus:
  • Build deep relationships with external customers and partners to understand real-world workflows.
  • Lead discovery efforts to gather detailed API use cases across multiple healthcare environments.
  • Segment market needs and ensures product capabilities meet integration expectations with EHRs and digital health platforms.
Product Strategy & Execution:
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and 12–24 month roadmap for API services.
  • Lead all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept and requirements to delivery and sunset.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams using Agile methodologies to build and iterate API products.
Data-Driven Decisions:
  • Set product KPIs and success metrics to evaluate adoption, performance, and usability of API features.
  • Use data and qualitative insights to guide trade-offs and prioritize backlog items effectively.
Go-to-Market Readiness:
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success to develop launch plans, positioning, and messaging.
  • Prepare training and collateral to enable internal and external adoption of new APIs.
  • Provide input into pricing, licensing, and bundling strategies, when applicable.
Technical & Platform Collaboration:
  • Partner with architects and developers to align product direction with technical feasibility and scalability.
  • Understand high-level architecture and help design extensible API interfaces and documentation standards.
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
  • Serve as a product leader, mentoring junior PMs and influencing team culture and decision-making.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding efforts across the product organization.

Experience:
  • 8–10 years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in B2B API or platform products.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling API products in a healthcare, SaaS, or regulated environment.
  • Strong track record of cross-functional leadership across engineering, UX, marketing, and sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Data-literate and able to influence decisions with KPIs and insights.
  • Deep understanding of customer-centric design and agile product development.
