Snapshot of the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help elevate the MasterClass experience across iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. In this role, you’ll lead the development of elegant, performant, and user-centric features that showcase our world-class content to millions of members. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, backend, and QA teams to build experiences that are seamless, polished, and aligned with our brand. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of iOS experience, are fluent in Swift, and bring a passion for beautiful code, clean architecture, and pushing what’s possible on Apple platforms. This role is based in Waterloo, Canada, with a remote-first approach and flexible in-office touchpoints.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience building and maintaining high-quality iOS apps, including iPhone and iPad.
Fluency in Swift. Experience with RxSwift/RxCocoa a plus.
Strong understanding of architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or MVVM-C.
Hands-on or other reactive frameworks.
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with tvOS, Core Data, AVFoundation, CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
Passion for performance, animation, and delivering pixel-perfect UI.

Contribute to a culture of continuous learning through mentorship, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
