The Senior Technical Product Manager leads cross‑functional engineering teams within the Enterprise domain, driving Business Unit (BU) partnership, development, and delivery of scalable, intelligent solutions that power our global digital ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, education, and enterprise platform architecture, helping scale AI capabilities that personalize learning, improve outcomes, and drive data‑informed decision making throughout the organization. Success requires a deep technical understanding of AI systems, APIs, databases, and infrastructure, paired with strong product leadership, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills. 

 

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Own the product lifecycle within the enterprise team - from planning through execution and continuous optimization - working closely with software engineering, data science, and business leadership to deliver secure, efficient, and integrated solutions.
  • Lead solution design and architecture discussions, partnering with technical teams to develop scalable, high‑impact enterprise and AI capabilities. 
  • Align and triage with engineering development, testing, and deployment.
  • Own prioritization and scope alignment for delivery execution, balancing stakeholder needs, business value, and technical feasibility for optimal outcomes. 
  • Define and track key product success metrics, using data and feedback to refine strategy and improve performance across platforms. 
  • Build trusted relationships across enterprise, business, and customer‑facing teams to ensure technology investments translate into measurable impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering, program management, and leadership teams to define product plans, manage resources, and coordinate successful execution. 
  • Build and disseminate domain expertise to manage dependencies and drive impactful data‑driven solutions. 
  • May have direct reports, and as such hires, trains, develops, and motivates a team of employees. Works with employees to establish annual goals and objectives. Conducts timely performance evaluations. Monitors and controls team expenses.

 

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in highly technical product management or related roles (e.g., software engineering, solutions architecture, etc.). 
  • Strong technical acumen, enabling effective partnership with engineering and data science teams and clear communication of complex concepts to non‑technical audiences. 
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, databases, and application infrastructure, with ability to perform initial log reviews and triage issues (coding not required). 
  • Understanding and experience with AI and data infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training workflows, and deployment tools. 
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence across all organizational levels and diverse, cross‑functional teams. 
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Skilled in defining, tracking, and interpreting key performance metrics for AI models and products (e.g., accuracy, precision, ROI). 
  • Demonstrated proactive, metrics‑driven product management leadership that balances business and technical success. 
  • Committed to ethical and responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation, data privacy, and transparency. 

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in AI space
  • 3+ years of people management or team leadership
  • Experience with WCAG-compliant design and testing. 
  • Familiarity with UX wire framing and prototyping tools. 
  • Background in EdTech and knowledge of industry-specific challenges.

The pay range for this position is between $115,000 - $160,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.  Click here to learn more about our benefit offerings.
