Job Summary/Basic Function: 
The Events & Marketing Coordinator at the Dayton Regional STEM Schools plays a key role in advancing the school’s strategic initiatives through the planning, promotion, and execution of high-impact events and marketing initiatives. This position supports the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Superintendent, Treasurer, and Principals by coordinating events, managing school communications across platforms, and facilitating meaningful engagement with internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures seamless execution of events, professional communication across platforms, and organized support for internal and external partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications 
· Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ related experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 4 years’ of related experience, OR High School (GED) and 6 years’ of related experience
· Experience should be in coordinating events, managing communications, project/program management, supporting outreach efforts, administrative, or other similar roles
· Strong communication skills, effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize critical tasks
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
· Skill in operating standard PC software applications (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
· History of ability to meet deadlines· Integrity and judgment necessary to maintain strict confidentiality at all times

Preferred Qualifications  | Experience working in a K12 environment

Essential Functions and percent of time:  | 45% – Event Management
·Plan and execute mission-aligned school events including family engagement nights, academic showcases, staff events, and community partnership programs· Manage all event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, supplies, catering, event staffing, volunteer coordination, and budget tracking· Develop timelines, checklists, and post-event reports to ensure quality and consistency· Maintain records related to event participation, community engagement, and marketing reach; produce data-informed summaries to support strategic planning and partnership growth.· Support tracking and logistics for career exploration and partnership-based programs
25% – Communications & Marketing Support
· Develop and manage content for newsletters, school publications, website updates, and digital communication platforms· Create social media posts and graphics to promote events, programs, and key initiatives· Collaborate with leadership to ensure messaging is aligned with school branding and goals· Maintain a communications calendar and provide creative support for campaigns aligned with recruitment, partnerships, or donor stewardship
.25% – Operational Support
· Coordinate administrative logistics such as scheduling stakeholder meetings, preparing materials, and supporting follow-up for internal and external engagement.· Organize travel and lodging arrangements for staff attending off-site events, conferences, or partnership meetings, and manage related documentation and expenses.· Provide limited administrative backup for front office operations during peak timesAssist with special initiatives, time-sensitive administrative projects.
5% – Other Duties
·As assigned to support the mission of the organization.
