The role of a Strategic Benefits Planner requires expertise in leading, defining, documenting, and overseeing the execution of health and well-being initiatives and leveraging data-driven insights to achieve strategic business objectives. In this pivotal position, the primary responsibilities encompass devising strategies to optimize costs, enhance utilization, facilitate crucial decision-making processes, and promote a comprehensive understanding of the benefits offerings provided by Blackbaud. The ideal candidate will ensure that benefits programs are aligned with a 'global by design' philosophy, supporting consistency and cultural relevance across all countries where the company operates.
What you'll do:
- Plan, execute, and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of all benefits initiatives, including coordination of financial analysis, data analytics, and the identification of multigenerational strategies to boost overall employee engagement and drive business objectives.
- Execute global benefits initiatives and programs that align with the company’s strategic goals and employee engagement objectives.
- Support the development and implementation of communication plans for benefits changes across all affiliated countries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of benefits programs.
- Provide data analysis and reporting to support decision-making by senior leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and track progress to ensure timely and effective implementation.
- Monitor global benefits trends and regulatory changes to inform internal recommendations.
- Translate solutions and recommendations into impactful and effective presentations by leveraging various delivery methods for leadership and employee communications.
- Ensure benefits programs are culturally relevant and compliant with local regulations while maintaining global alignment.
- Maintain knowledge, curiosity, and attention to current and future benefits trends.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on program execution and employee engagement.
- Experience supporting global benefits programs across multiple countries. Experience in any of the following region's is a plus: EMEA, APAC, and/or India.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience supporting cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using data analytics tools and techniques.

The starting base pay is $101,900.00 to $132,800.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
