About the Role
As Strategic Engagement Manager, this role is responsible for supporting Elsevier's Analytical and Data Services strategy across the Americas. Key responsibilities include conducting strategic account analysis, assessing customer needs, monitoring market trends, supporting discovery and qualification, contributing to RFPs and strategic briefings, and helping customers understand how Elsevier's Analytical and Data Services offerings support research strategy, benchmarking, funding decisions, workflow improvement, and evidence-based decision-making.
The Strategic Engagement Manager also acts as a voice of the customer by sharing market intelligence, adoption patterns, competitive signals, product feedback, technical objections, and unmet needs with internal teams. The role supports business reviews, planning meetings, forecasting, performance reporting, and cross-functional coordination to improve execution, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
