Job Description
The Strategic Partnerships & Industry Engagement Manager is responsible for leading and advancing CS|Source, the Department of Computer Science’s membership-based industry engagement program and Industry Advisory Board. CS|Source functions as the department’s central structure for reciprocal engagement among students, faculty, alumni, and organizational partners, with member organizations serving both as partners and as participants in the department’s industry advisory board.
This position develops and stewards a diverse portfolio of organizational partnerships; manages the CS|Source membership and advisory board structure; and ensures that external relationships translate into meaningful student, academic, and programmatic opportunities. The role combines partnership development, advisory board management, program leadership, and student-facing career engagement.
The position contributes to departmental priorities related to community building, student success, innovation and collaboration, and the department’s external visibility and impact.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or relevant administrative experience.
- Clear and professional written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated accountability for work accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other applications within the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Demonstrated strength in process improvement and problem-solving.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a range of constituents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, communications, or related field.
- Experience working in an advancement, donor relations, membership, fundraising, and/or stewardship role.
- Experience using member management software.
- Experience in a higher education, military, or non-profit environment
