Job Summary/Basic Function
The Stromberg Complex Marketing Manager assists the Facility Manager, Aquatics Coordinator, and Gym Operations and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator with various management tasks including, but not limited to:
Creating and posting advertising for programs, events, and general building announcements, managing posting on bulletin boards in the Stromberg Complex, creating engaging social media posts, including collaborating with building stakeholders such as Athletics and Campus Recreation, and assisting with tabling at events such as Block Party. May require travel to Davis Campus for event tabling. The Marketing Manager acts as a leader and mentor for staff and should be a role model for safe practices for all Stromberg Complex hourly staff. The position requires a minimum of 5 hours of office work per week which can be supplemented with other shifts as needed. This position reports to the Stromberg Complex Facility Manager.


Required Qualifications
Must be a current Weber State student. Experience creating print and digital marketing materials or experience with managing a social media account. Most possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
