POSITION SPECIFICS
The Office of the Bursar is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with excellent customer service skills to fill a full-time position as a Student Account Associate
 
The successful candidate will:
  • Provide counseling and guidance to students, families, and staff on University policies and procedures related to the student account
  • Provide a high level of in-depth analysis concerning student accounts
  • Resolve issues with student accounts
  • Guide students and families through the billing, financial aid disbursement, and refunding processes by responding to direct requests via telephone, e-mail, virtual, and in-person visits to the Office of the Bursar
  • Responsible for accepting and posting payments, issuing receipts, and reconciling respective transactions
 
Skills and experience include:
  • High level of attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and grammatical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advising and counseling skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with student and business systems/software is preferred
 
This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work (up to 2 to 3 days per week remote). Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $42,100.00 - $61,000.00.
