Job Summary
The Student Affairs Officer III will, in collaboration with Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFAS) leadership, Enrollment Management leadership and the College of Nursing Administration, work as the College of Nursing’s Recruitment/Scholarship Coordinator to effectively recruit nursing students and administer the application review and selection process of all undergraduate nursing scholarship awards. This position will be the primary contact for all Nursing Scholarships within OSFAS and will work very closely with scholarship committees within the College of Nursing to ensure the timely review and awarding of all nursing scholarships. As a member of the Scholarship Office, this position will support the administration of all undergraduate scholarship programs, namely transfer scholarships, and assist in different means to support the office to award and renew scholarships.

Job duties include scholarship organization and oversight, development of an annual plan to evaluate the scholarship process to determine effectiveness, make recommendations for adjustments as necessary, coordinate transfer student awarding within the Scholarship Office as well as provide administrative support. Assist with undergraduate recruitment at a variety of on and office campus recruitment events.

Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.

MS Windows, Excel, Scholarship Universe, critical thinking, public speaking, interpersonal skills both written and verbal with multiple audiences (students, parents) designing, planning, organizing, marketing, detail-oriented, collaborative with related departments, creativity, customer service

Preferred Education/Experience
Master’s degree preferred, experience in scholarship administration, advising, recruitment, financial aid administration and/or related experience.

Driver’s License preferred.
