JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center, in partnership with Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics Development & Enrichment, seeks a Part-Time Student-Athlete Financial & Career Coach to support Division I student-athletes through the Money Drills program.
This role is primarily focused on individual financial coaching, education, and mentorship. The Financial & Career Coach plays a key role in helping student-athletes build financial confidence, prepare for life after sport, and make informed decisions aligned with their personal and professional goals.

Compensation-
Year 1 (2026): Up to $25,000 annually
Years 2-4 (2027-2029): Compensation may increase with performance evaluation and as duties are added per grant allocation
This is a part-time position based at University Park and does not include Penn State benefits. Position is renewable upon successful performance evaluation.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
