You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK. Calypso is a women’s boutique focused on curated, elevated everyday style. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and strategic Email & SMS Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role will focus on leading our email and SMS marketing efforts, while also supporting content creation through graphic design and visual storytelling. You’ll work closely with our Content & Digital Manager to execute campaigns that drive engagement, traffic, and sales. In-person position based in Lexington, KY Flexible hours depending on experience and role scope Summer start preferred, with opportunity for continued role based on business needs and performance Creative, collaborative team environment Opportunity to take ownership of a key marketing channel Hands-on experience in boutique retail marketing and brand growth Play a direct role in shaping the brand’s digital presence Combine creativity and strategy in a fast-paced environment Work closely with a small, collaborative team Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility over time |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Plan, create, and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns (weekly + promotional) Design visually cohesive emails that align with Calypso’s brand aesthetic Write engaging copy for email and SMS that reflects brand voice and drives action Manage campaign scheduling, segmentation, and audience targeting Monitor performance metrics (open rates, click rates, conversions) and optimize campaigns Collaborate on overall content strategy with the Content & Digital Manager Assist with graphic design needs including email assets, website visuals, and marketing materials Support uploading and organizing content on the website as needed Maintain an organized digital asset library for marketing use |
