Pay Range Information | Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary | Under the direct supervision of the Fire Marshal, and while serving as a First Aid Team member in good standing, assists with the training and onboarding of new team members.
Responsibilities | In addition to providing first aid services, performs a variety of operational and administrative duties to support the university’s first aid program. Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, and breaking down first aid stations; retrieving, distributing, and returning emergency response equipment, including radios and medical supplies; and ensuring equipment is operational and event-ready. Adheres to assigned work schedules, including breaks, and submits accurate and timely timesheets.Assists with scheduling, monthly team meetings, and program presentations. Prepares and delivers training materials and presentations for new and existing team members, evaluates emergency medical response skills, and supports ongoing training and competency development. Assists the First Aid Team Manager with the inspection, maintenance, inventory, and operational readiness of emergency medical equipment and supplies to ensure preparedness for campus events and emergency response.
Required Qualifications | Completion of Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nurse Assistant, Medical Assistant, or equivalent work experience such as lifeguard or clinical hospital volunteer.
Desired Qualifications | Exceptional leadership, good communication and emergency medical skills.
