Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials  | Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications  | Experience in the following Student Life areas: program/event planning, budget management, student engagement platform, student organizations, fraternity and sorority life, and student leadership development.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | Knowledge of the basic principles and theories of student development, educational administration, and public relations.

Plan, execute, and oversee campus-wide programs, events, and activities that promote student engagement, connection, and success on the Beaufort campus of USCB.. Collaborate with registered student organizations, the Sand Shark Activities Board (SSAB), and campus partners to develop and implement major initiatives such as Welcome Week, Fright Week, De-Stress Week, and other large-scale events. Assist with fiscal oversight of the Student Life budget while ensuring programs align with departmental goals, the institutional mission, and best practices in student development and engagement. Conduct ongoing assessment through attendance tracking, surveys, focus groups, and data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and guide improvements. Oversee department social media and branding in compliance with university policies. Additionally, advise and support SSAB in creating innovative programming that meets evolving student needs, fosters community, and enhances an inclusive campus environment.
