Organization's Summary Statement:
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is seeking an Administrative Graduate Assistant for the spring 2026 semester to provide  administrative and direct support to Chemistry and Biochemistry UG and Graduate programs.   

Key Responsibilities and Preferences
The incumbent will be expected to assist staff with various day to day tasks of the office such as answering telephone, responding to in person questions.  Assisting in the copying of exams,  entering data into databases and triaging student concerns to the appropriate individual.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or office support experience, preferably in a higher education.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  •   Ability to lift and move items (such as books or copier paper)
