The Department of Exercise Science is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Student Services Coordinator which plays a critical role in delivering high-quality student services and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of academic programs. The Student Services Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and student support across the full student lifecycle—from recruitment and admissions through graduation. This role works closely with Athletic Training Program Directors, faculty, and department leadership to coordinate academic operations, support curriculum processes, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards, including CAATE and ACEND. Key responsibilities include managing admissions and recruitment activities, coordinating course scheduling and registration logistics, maintaining accurate student and program records, and supporting accreditation and compliance efforts. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply university policies and procedures while ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and at a high standard of quality.

Athletic Training (AT):
  • Support daily operations of the Athletic Training Programs, serving as a primary contact for students, faculty, staff, clinical education sites, and external partners; coordinate communications, supervise student workers, and manage instructional materials and office/classroom resources.
  • Provides direct support to the MS in Athletic Training (MSAT) Program and Program Director, assisting with program operations, student advisement, comprehensive exams, scheduling, and ongoing student support needs.
  • Supports CAATE accreditation and compliance activities by maintaining accurate student records, preceptor credentialing documentation, and faculty credential files within E*Value and related systems.
  • Coordinates ATCAS application processes, including monitoring applications, tracking applicant progress, managing communications, and supporting admissions review workflows.
  • Coordinate recruitment initiatives, including scheduling prospective student visits, developing itineraries, supporting recruitment events, and serving as a primary point of contact for prospective students.
  • Manages advising and registration logistics, including preparation and tracking of Programs of Study, maintaining advising documentation, and coordinating with ASPH Office of Graduate Student Services and the Grad school.
  • Supports graduate admissions and onboarding processes in collaboration with the MSAT Program Director and Graduate Student Services, including applicant communication, matriculation steps, and new student orientation support.
  • Assists Athletic Training faculty with course schedule and room reservations by coordinating with appropriate contacts in the Office of the University Registrar as well as the appropriate contacts in the Blatt Physical Education Center and the Public Health Research Center.

  • Serves as primary support and liaison for the Exercise Science Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, including coordinating meeting logistics, preparing and distributing agendas and materials, recording, disseminating and maintaining meeting minutes, tracking action items, and attending all committee meetings.
