Located within the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success, the Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR) seeks to foster an inclusive campus environment that is designed with accessibility in mind. Our aim is to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to identify and remove course, program, or campus barriers that may prevent equal access to education and an equitable campus experience for individuals with disabilities while promoting self-advocacy and providing support to foster student learning and engagement. 

Reporting to the Director, the Student Services Specialist supports operational and administrative functions within the OAR. Responsibilities include: 
·Coordinating OAR calendars/scheduling including welcome meetings, accommodation meetings, and test proctoring.  
·Managing student applications—for both academic and housing accommodations—within the Accessibility Information Management system, ensuring complete information/documentation and routing/coding to appropriate next action. 
·Managing OAR general office email box, responding to basic inquiries and routing messages to appropriate staff. 
·Coordinating note-taker notes, ensuring timely delivery of notes. 
·Assists Testing Center Coordinator in accommodated test proctoring as needed, including scheduling, scribing, proctoring music listening exams, and corresponding with faculty to obtain tests and proctoring information. 
·Obtaining and coordinating delivery of Alternate Format Text and Assistive Technology.  
·Supporting outreach events by ensuring that promotional and informational materials are stocked. 
·Answering phones. 
·Maintaining website and social media accounts. Possibility of hybrid work with some remote days. 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
·Strong organizational and project-management skills. 
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Familiarity with database or information management systems.
·Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
·Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
·Excellent written communication skills. 

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. 
Minimum Qualifications
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without need for sponsorship. 
High school diploma required. 
Preferred Qualifications
·Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
·Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·Excellent collaboration and customer service skills.
·Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population with a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and communication styles. 
·Experience in higher education and/or student support. 

Website development and social media skills.
