We are seeking a highly motivated and articulate Student Support Coordinator to join our Student Success team. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by coordinating the student support functions for prospective students, applied students and those enrolled in an online degree program. You will also collaborate with staff, ensuring that identified goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities and standards of quality and customer service.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides both direct and indirect support to our online students.
  • Directly supports various internal departments within the online department and University as a whole.
  • Provides administration and coordination of program activities and services for the online student population. Interprets the program procedures, policies, practices and objectives.
  • Provides problem resolution for both students and internal staff based on situation, practice and program. Supports through technical guidance, customer service and coordination of services available.
  • Coordinates and administers support for enrolled and prospective students, such as course registration, graduation processing, petitioning, withdrawals, program documentation, user accounts, special projects and orientations.
  • Works collaboratively with internal and external partners and promotes the discovery process for solving problems.
  • Collaborates with other colleges and central university offices to ensure a coordinated approach to student recruitment, engagement and retention.
  • Initiates, develops and sustains strong positive relationships with other departmental contacts/coordinators/directors to ensure achievement of the mission and goals of the departments and University.
  • Prepare reports as needed, assists in fact finding or research projects for student success and program growth.
  • Maintains student records on the database; creates and provides reports.
  • Directly contacts and supports students as needed.
  • Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned or directed.

NOTE: This is not a fully remote position. Must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale AZ.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience with online-related student services (3-5 years).
  • Experience in formulating and implementing creative strategies that improve student retention.
  • Experience working in fast paced environment.
  • Experience working with online programs and students in a higher education environment.
  • Experience developing, facilitating, and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with diverse populations.
  • Experience using Salesforce, MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Evidence of strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in following guidelines, structure, and established policy to deliver accurate and precise information.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $49,000 -$56,000 per year; DOE
